Happy Halloween...

So once again, it's Halloween

My all-time favorite day of the year...

boo biach

I think this is actually this first year that I am not taking part of any event/costume party.

Bummer.

Here's Halloween Haiku:

Disguising ourselves
Choosing WHO and WHAT to be
Such sweet delusion...

And finally, I will leave you with the "Costume King" himself...

Heh. Sweeeeet.

So I’m learning Spanish...

Well -- because I can...
And I’m trying to slowly rub it off on my friends...

(Note: Mama Fusla ------- > This is going to come in particularly handy when you finally hook up with Alejandro Sanz)

Watch out bitches -- Spanish Munki is on a mission!

or rather:

"¡guárdese de las putas -- Munki Español está en una misión!"

So here are a few things I am into (as of late):

Favorite new song:
"Tabaco y Chanel" by Bacilos (a Colombian band)

Favorite new expression:
"Cosquilléeme"
[Translation: "Tickle me"]

Funny-ass phrase I ran across:
"No te vayas tan rapido! Quý pasa si estoy embarazada?"
[Translation: "Don't go so fast! What if I am pregnant?"]

Classic line... No?

Favorite new website:
Random (Spanish) Idiom Generator

Favorite Spanish Architect:
Who else? Antoni Gaudi...

Cool "Spanish" product: -----> spanish fly red

Note: I have been to Spain twice. In 1999 (the Mainland) and in 2003 (Ibiza).
(I think it's time I pay them another visit...)

And finally I will leave you with the lyrics to an amazing song:

"Never Been To Spain" (by Three Dog Night)

Yo' Mama... (Geek Edition)

This has got to be the funniest site for Yo' Mama Jokes...

It's divided into categories. My favorite is the "Geek" section.

Here's an example from the Math section:

1. Your mom is dumb, she can't even solve a second-order non-homogeneous differential equation!

2. Your mom is so stupid, she tried to use substitution to find the definite integral of f(x)=x^2 over the interval 0.

3. Your mom is so stupid, she tried to find the total area of the graph under the function F(x)=sin x over the interval -1.

4. Your mom is so stupid, she derived all three Erenfest theorems using the position space representation!

LOL

And here are some examples from the Physics section:

1. Your mom's weight is modeled by the summation of a diverging sequence.

2. Your mom is so dense she refracts light.

3. Your mom is so massive, that the gravitational lensing effect is so great around her that a light beam passing within 1 AU has a radius of curvature of 6E9 meters!

4. Your Mom conforms to Planck's law. The greater the frequency with which she screws, the more energetic she gets.

And here are some jokes for you Code whores (hehe)

1. Your Mom is so stupid, she uploads executables in ASCII mode.

2. If we were to code your mom in a C++ function she would look like this: double mom (double fat){ mom(fat);return mom;}; //your mom is recursively fat!

3. private int yourMom = 1; private boolean isSlut = false; while(Math.random() * yourMom < isslut =" true;">

4. public boolean whore(String x) { if (x = "Your Mom") { return true; } else { return false; }

Oh man..... I am having waaaaay too much fun with this. I'm a sucker for Geek humour :)

Now, why don't you go

pissoff

Life...

Listening to : "Life" by My Computer

It's very early Radiohead meets Muse.
A lovely song...

(Note: The lyrics weren't available, to I had to REALLY listen and type them up myself).

[Lyrics]

Life, it gets harder
but I keep it to myself

Everyday, it's the same day
but I keep it to myself

I am your saviour
but I keep it to myself

I don't like your behaviour
but I keep it to myself

Cuz life, life, life is a series
of keeping things to yourself
If you find out, just keep it to yourself

This is my new hive, had yours**
and I keep it to myself

I am a dark horse
but I keep it to myself

I am an escapist
but I keep it to myself

I know a rapist
but I keep it to myself

Life is a series
of keeping things to yourself
If you find out, just keep it to yourself

I keep it to myself
I keep it to myself, my life
I keep it to myself
I keep it to myself, my life

Sufi Infusion

multi color dervishes

For those of you who know me, surely you know of my Sufism obsession...
I am utterly fascinated by this whole Islamic Mysticism "cult" (yes, I consider it a cult... As are most religions).

My interest was sparked about a year ago actually... During Ramadan.
I think it all began after a (somewhat enlightening) trip to Turkey. And It took me a few months to read up on it etc...

In addition to my Sufi-fascination, I have fallen in love with the poetry of Jalal Al-Din Rumi.
(Sufi Poet and Mystic).

Seriously people. If you haven't read his work, you are missing out.

So, I have decided to post some random sufi-related pics for your viewing pleasure...

whirling sufis

Some "Whirling Dervishes" in Turkey

female dervish

I think this is a "Female" Dervish (which you never see)

dervishes 3

More Whirling Dervishes...

sufi abstract

A Dervish abstract

sufi-exercise

And This last one is interesting... It's a "Sufi Zurkhane" exercise (in Tehran, Iran).
The followers wear special paisely pants, thick leather belts and wield large clubs. They roll back and forth, swing the clubs in unison, and perform calisthenics. There is apparently a sufi mystical connection, sort of the Islamic equivalent of Tai Chi, or East Asia martial arts.

And I will leave you with the following poems by Rumi:

Last year I admired wines
This year I'm wandering inside the red world.

Last year I gazed at the fire
This year I'm burnt Kabob

Thirst drove me down to the water
Where I drank the moon's reflection

---------------------------------------------------------

We have a huge barrel of wine, but no cups.
That's fine with us.

Every morning we glow
And in the evening we glow again.

They say there's no future for us. They're right.
Which is fine with us...

---------------------------------------------------------

Out beyond the ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing
There is a field, I'll meet you there,

When the soul lies down in that grass
The world is too full to talk about

Ideas, language, even the phrase each other
Doesn't make any sense.

---------------------------------------------------------

Come to the orchard in spring
There is light and wine, and sweethearts
In the pomegranate flowers

If you do not come, these do not matter
If you do come, these do not matter...

---------------------------------------------------------

You've so distracted me
Your absence fans my love
Don't as how

Then you come near
"Do not...," I say and
"Do not...," you answer.

Don't as why
This delights me.

---------------------------------------------------------

Pale sunlight
pale the wall

love moves away
the light changes

I need more grace
than I thought...

---------------------------------------------------------

You have said what you are
I am what I am
Your actions in my head
My head here in my hands
With something circling inside
I have no name
For what circles
So perfectly...

From Fulla to "Fusla"...

Before:

fulla

After:

fusla 2

Fulla has apparently decided to join the "Fusla Crew"...
She is currently in the process of her make-over...
Her "new image" will most likely involve a weird vintage t-shirt, a cowboy hat, and some bling...

p.s. Oh, and "Happy Ramadan" and all that...

Stupid car of the week # 1

sometimes...

This was taken here in Kuwait...

I just love taking pictures of stupid car stickers/slogans/signs...
The grammar is always off, and the expressions are so poorly translated...

This one is so idiotic that it's almost brilliant!

Magnetic Poetry

magnetic poetry original

I'm sure you've all seen these on people's refrigerators. It's been around for a while.
Magnetic poetry is basically random words, that you assemble in whatever order you please...
Usually the result is something rather ridiculous and perverted.
I don't put that much thought into it... I just pick up the words and try to see how many dirty euphemisms I can come up with.

Here are some of my classics:

Tongue me fast & watch me moan like a frantic mother

Let me pound you with my lazy sausage

Blow my wet pole as I fiddle your puppy

Smear some chocolate on my smooth butt (written by B)

Lick my sweet skin all summer (you can interchange skin with "meat")

magnetic poetry board

Surprisingly, I haven't written any magnetic poetry haiku.
Normally, it would have been the first thing I would have done... Hmmm...
WTFDITOIE?
(Why the fuck didn’t I think of it earlier?)

So, my next post shall feature magnetic poetry haiku.
In fact, I am going to do a whole series of them. Yeah, dammit...
